  • Notes

    • came from Lancashire, one of the incorporators of Lancaster, Massachusetts, 1653. He had four children whom he left in England with their mother until he had made a home for them in Lancaster. During King Philip's War 1675-76 two of his sons were killed and after the massacre by the Indians in the latter year, he, with his wife, son and daughter and her husband went to Woburn where he passed the brief remainder of his life.
