• Notes

  came to Concord, Mass. before 1639 with his brother John. His son Samuel Smeadley married Hannah Wheeler there in 1667. Samuel was killed by Indians in 1675 at Brookfield in the company of Capt. Thomas Wheeler. They were ambushed and 8 of the 20 man company were slain.   He also had a daughter Mary, and a son James. For more information see the Our Folk - Hart family Web Site
