was elected surveyor of highways in 1728 and in 1729 he was on a committee to view the way laid out through Ebenezer Hartwell's land. In 1731 he sold 400 feet of plank used for Couring the great bridge.
According to his grandson, Ebenezer Heald, his death was caused by a piece of hot iron which struck one of his eyes.
