A celebration of Zella Ann Millett's life will be at 11 a.m., Friday, October 7, 2005, at the Veterans National Cemetery in Eagle Point. Pastor Paul Hagedorn of Providence Hospice will officiate.
Mrs. Millett, 85, of Talent, died Saturday (October 1, 2005) surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Aug. 7, 1920 at Huckleberry Mountain, Jackson County to Franklin Sullivan and Zetta (Taylor) Sullivan. On Nov. 11, 1945 she married Dale F. Millett who preceded her in death.
Zella took great pride in her home and family. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, and cooking for family and friends.
Survivors include her son, Frank Millett; her daughter, Carolyn Crews both of Medford; her sister, Francis Johnson of Tulelake, CA; her brother, Charles Sullivan of Glendale, OR; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three siblings.
