Notes |
By the 1780's, Absalom and his family have moved to Culpeper County, Virginia, where he is found in the tax list in 1782-1787.
By 1797, Absalom owned 100 acres of first-rate land on David's Fork of Elkhorn Creek. In 1808, he is listed with 125 acres. This additional 25 acres probably was the land to which, in 1826, Abner Wilson gave a deed to Absalom's heirs in order to make a clear title (Fayette County Deed Book 2: page 125).
