I have been to Jefferson Cheek's grave site in Tazewell. He and Pricilla are on a hill. Jefferson's father George Washington and Amanda are in the DeBusk Cemetery. The road to the DeBusk Cemetery is just past the Cline Shop site--my grandfather. Gracie Cheek was my grandmother.

The Cheek tree may be: James, son of James, son of Robert, son of Richard, son of Richard. Most of my research is from the computer. One site that has helped me many times is the Claiborne County Pioneer Project. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ccpp/pioneer/index.htm

Have you seen Joe Clark's Home Folks book? He took pictures of Claiborne Co in the late 30's or early 40's. In Claiborne County, Tennessee: Pictorial History, 1801-2001 there's Unalee Cheek on page 67, on page 152 William Newton Vansel married Mollie Cheek, mamaw's sister.
