• Notes

  bought a strip of land in Concord in 1724. Although his name does not appear on the various war rolls, he must have shared in some of the "fights" since he was the possessor of a sword and at least two guns. He bequeathed his sword to his fourth son and a gun to each of his sons John and Jonathan.   They lived on a farm adjoining Sarah's brother John in Concord, Mass.
