I believe most of what you have on Tracy Lathrop Bibbins is correct. But, he was married twice. His first wife was Adeline Richardson b. 1834 in either Ida, Monroe, MI or MA. Family tradition says she was born in Michigan and one or two census also say that. I have two other census that say she was born in MA. Recently, in an effort to resolve this conflict I had a lot of research done at the Monroe County Historical building and could not find any reference to Adeline ever living there. Never the less, there was a large family of Richardson's who did. Adeline did go by the nickname Ada. I don't know the source of your Ella as a wife for Tracy. Adeline d. 19 Mar 1869 San Francisco, CA of smallpox.Tracy and Adeline had four children. I can fill you in on them if you would like. The 3rd was my great-grandmother.Tracy's second wife was Louise Amelia Snell (Lucy) She was the parent of Albert Snell Bibbins. Albert also had a sister Ethel May. Lucy was b. 31 July 1837 perhaps in New Bedford, Bristol, MA. Her father was Sylvester V. Snell b. 24 Dec 1805 in Paris, Oneida, NY d. 4 Nov 1890 in Ida, Monroe, MI (the same town family tradition says wife #1 for Tracy was born.) Lucy's mother was Mary Shurtleff b. 6 Jun 1812 Rochester, Plymouth, MA m. Sylvester 10 Jun 1832 in New Bedford, Bristol, MA. Lucy d. 11 Dec 1916 Ada Co., ID. |
